Testing Out and Graduation
When you feel you have invested the full amount of time or more and are ready to test, contact the school staff to arrange for your school final exam. CAUTION: Some students finish in two weeks, some take two months. Remember, this is a 90-hour course, and you won't want to shortcut the time needed to be successful. If you study 3 hours a day, which most people don't do, that alone would take a month to complete. Students in the past who have tried the shortcut have failed the school exam and repeated the process over and over. Both portions of the school exam take 3 hours to complete. You are not going to want to do that over and over. Invest the 90 hours first.
Don't be mistaken - the school exams are not practice exams All students are required to pass a school's final exam in order to complete the course. The exams model the Pearson Vue state exam with 80 general portion questions and 40 Nevada law questions. A score of 75% is required on both portions. We have three versions of the exams, so if you fail an exam, you may take another version. You need only take the portion you missed, so, as an example, if you pass the general exam and fail the state, you need only take and pass another state exam. Time allotted for the exams are 150 minutes for the general portion and 90 minutes for the state. Answers to the final exams will not be provided to the students. Should you fail all three times, you will be required to wait 5 business days to study further and then you may test again. Upon passing both portions, the student will be issued a Certificate of Completion to submit with licensure application.
